World Eaters Snow

    World Eaters Snow
    Color and paint schemes

In this project, we worked on an entire army of World Eaters. The force is built around a large number of heavy infantry and several greater daemons that act as visual focal points for the whole: two Daemon Princes, a Soul Eater…
We took care of the entire process: assembly, painting, and base creation, all executed at the Premium level. This allowed us to work on each miniature at a leisurely pace. The snowy bases, splattered with blood, set the scene on a frozen battlefield where violence has just erupted.
The color scheme remains very close to the classic box art of the World Eaters: deep dark reds, aged brass, and weathered steel. We added wear, dirt, and localized effects to avoid a flat finish. On some energy weapons, especially the Slaughterbound, we incorporated green OSL.

    Demons and Unleashed Fury

The client wanted to get started with the World Eaters with a complete army, without any risky reinterpretations. The main reference was the original Games Workshop scheme, but taken a step further in terms of depth and finish.
He asked us to work on all the miniatures, including bases, at a premium level, and for the greater daemons to stand out as unique pieces within a coherent set. He also gave us the freedom to introduce specific effects, such as OSL, as long as they did not detract from the overall aesthetic.
The result had to be an aggressive, recognizable army with a strong visual impact from any angle, something we kept in mind throughout the planning process.

The process was very orderly from the start. Each painter was responsible for specific units, which streamlined the work and allowed them to delve into details without losing momentum. The shared outline facilitated natural cohesion even when working in parallel.
The major demons set the pace for the project. As these were the most visible pieces, special care was taken with their volume, contrast, and expression. Green OSLs were applied at very specific points to add dynamism without overwhelming the image.
After completing all the units, we performed a final check for color and narrative consistency before closing the project.
