Stormcast Skaventide box
Color and paint schemes
The latest project to pass through our studio was a brilliant and majestic challenge: the Stormcast from the Skaventide box. An elite force wrapped in resplendent silver armor with golden details and touches of blue, an iconic scheme that faithfully reproduces the official Games Workshop style.
The commission included a sizeable force: from the imposing Lord-Vigilant on Gryph Stalker to units of Liberators, Prosecutors and Reclusians, each with their own presence on the battlefield. However, before we started painting, there was one crucial step: the miniatures came assembled with the push-to-fit system, without glue, which forced us to make adjustments and reinforcements to ensure that each piece was firm and without visible mold lines.
For painting, the goal was an ornate, polished finish. We applied lighting techniques to highlight the armor and worked on the gilding with subtle nuances to avoid flatness. The blue palette in fabrics and details provided contrast without breaking the coherence of the whole.
The bases were another key point. The client wanted them to fit with his Stormcast collection, so we designed an environment that evoked sacred grounds, with carved stones, worked textures and a subtle patina of wear, achieving a finish that reinforces the majesty of these miniatures.

Customer briefing
Steel, Gold & Storm: An Army Ready for Battle
Sometimes, a project comes to us in the most organic way possible: through the community. In this case, a passionate Age of Sigmar collector found us thanks to our reputation in miniature painting and decided to trust us to bring his Stormcast Skaventide army to life.
From the very first message, the brief was clear: he wanted an ornate and neat painting, fully aligned with the official Games Workshop scheme. Silver and gold armor, blue fabrics and details, without major modifications, but with the highest possible quality. In addition, the bases had to maintain a coherence with other miniatures in their collection, which led us to design an environment that evoked ancient ruins and sacred grounds.
The client made it clear to us that he was looking for more than just a simple application of color: he wanted a careful and detailed execution, ensuring that each miniature would look with presence on the gaming table. A perfect challenge for us.

Azyr on Earth: The Creation of an Imposing Force
From day one, this project put us to the test. Although the miniatures arrived assembled, the push-to-fit joints were not firm enough, so the first thing we had to do was to reinforce each joint and prepare them for the painting process.
The client had a clear idea: he wanted an ornate painting, faithful to the official Games Workshop scheme. We made a test miniature with the silver, gold and blue tones to make sure it matched his expectations. Once approved, we got to work.
We painted in blocks, starting with the larger units like the Liberators and Prosecutors and moving towards the characters. We applied lights and shadows on the armor to give volume, worked on the golds to give them depth and took care of every little blue detail to keep the contrast perfect.
Every day we sent progress to the client, who appreciated our commitment to the fidelity to the scheme and the quality of the finishes. The bases were the final touch, designed to integrate with his army and give coherence to the whole. A demanding job, but the result was worth every brushstroke.
