A small force of Ultramarines as the start of a larger project that will become a full army. Classic Ultramarines scheme with our personal touch more Grimdark and battle damaged.
The Warhammer project is painted combining our Ornate level with bases of the same level and Premium minis with Premium bases. In this case we also took care of the assembly of the miniatures and some small conversions.
We have opted for the incorporation of rust and chipping of the armour with reddish tones as they stand out against the characteristic blue of their armour. We have played with the dynamic poses of the dreads interacting with the scenery, making their way through the ruins.

I would like to have an army of Ultramarines
I wish to expand the army I already have at home of 1500p with more units, painting is not my thing and I don’t have time for it either. The idea is to start with this and then keep expanding… I already have in mind a Tigurius, Guilliman, Calgar… Just to have a full collection.
As for the painting, classic scheme but with your style, I don’t have any favourite heraldry so whatever looks better.

Daily follow-up of the project, is coming to life
As it was the first time we were working on this project, the first thing we did was to create the colour palettes and test them on a sample miniature.
A continuous follow-up during the first days as it was the first time we were working together. Once all the doubts were solved, we reduced the tracking to daily feedback until the project was completed.
