Chaos Dwarfs BB
Color and paint schemes
This was one of those projects that we enjoyed from minute one. It was our turn to take a band of real brutes to the field: a full team of Chaos Dwarfs for Blood Bowl, with all the classic ingredients that make this faction a favorite among board veterans.
The scheme was classic: black and red, pure Games Workshop style. A palette that never fails to convey the rawness and belligerent spirit of this team. We painted all the miniatures at a showy level, looking for that balance between dynamism and detail that makes them stand out in the field without losing coherence as a whole.
The bases were a strong point: they are themed in line with the Chaos Dwarves terrain sold by GW, with a very marked volcanic aesthetic that reinforces the visual narrative. All the equipment looks like it came straight out of the fiery depths of the Old World.
The assembly also passed through our hands, and although in this case we did not incorporate external 3D pieces, it was not necessary: the official miniatures have strength to spare. We took care of the cohesion from the first brushstroke to the last edge of the base.

Customer briefing
Color, fire and fangs: the wrath of the Chaos Dwarves takes shape
There are projects that are born from a shared passion for a game, and this is one of them. The client, a veteran Blood Bowl fan, came across our work on social networks while looking for a studio that could bring his dream team of Chaos Dwarves to life. It didn’t take long for us to connect: we spoke the same language.
From the beginning, his request was clear and well stated. He wanted the whole team painted to the ornate level, respecting the mythical red and black scheme of the Chaos Dwarves according to the Games Workshop model. No reinterpretations: total fidelity to the official style.
In addition, I had a very specific request for the bases: they had to be in tune with the Chaos Dwarfs BB thematic field sold by GW, so that the equipment would not only stand out on its own, but would fit perfectly on the playing field. There was no need for 3D parts or conversions. All official, all with intent.

Between ash and steel: how this Blood Bowl team was born
The process of this project was as smooth as it was fun. From the beginning we decided to divide the work between two members of the studio: one was in charge of the Chaos Dwarves and the Centaurs, while the other took the reins of the Hobgoblins, the Minotaur and the star characters. This way we balanced time, energy… and even healthy quarrels about which part of the team was looking better.
We started with the basic players, because we knew that the “big guys” and the stars were the main course, and we wanted to enjoy them as a final prize. Throughout the process, we were sharing daily photos with the client, showing progress, color adjustments, details of the bases, and small touches that were giving life to the set.
There were no major complications, except for the usual challenge of painting characters with as much detail as Hthark or Zzharg. But when you are a Blood Bowl fan, that doesn’t weigh: it motivates. Each Chaos Dwarfs BB miniature was worked with care, always looking for the cohesion of the group. And best of all: the client enjoyed seeing how his team took shape day by day, until it became the brutal set he had imagined.
