Blood Angels Horus Heresy | Projects

With the release of Horus Heresy we were commissioned to paint an entire box of The Age of Darkness painted in the colour scheme of the Blood angels horus heresy set on their homeworld Baal.

The project is painted entirely in our Ornate level with Warhammer bases of the same level. In this case we also took care of assembly the miniatures and some small conversions.

We have focused on all the weathering and battle damage work to represent veteran troops that have been fighting countless battles for dozens of years and that is reflected in their armour. Also the Spartan tank has been decorated with all kinds of iconography from the chapter to turn it into a real work of art with cannons.

I want the army of my dreams

Since I was a little boy I had dreamed of having a whole chapter of the Blood angels horus heresy and now that I can afford it I would like you to give shape to this project that has been in my mind for so many years. I would like to start with this Horus Heresy box and then expand it in the future.

I’d like it to have your Grimdark touch and I’d like the armour not to look like it just came out of the factory.

Daily follow-up of the project, is coming to life

As this was an extension of a previous project with this client it was not necessary to validate a sample miniature as we already had their colour palette stored.

The follow up was mainly at the time of assembly Warhammer miniatures as there were many variables of weapons and equipment. As usual we were sending the daily WIP and this way he could see the project evolution.
