Welcome to our latest challenge at Art-W Studio, where mastery in miniature painting comes to life. We dive into the universe of Astra Militarum with a fascinating project that pays homage to the classic NATO desert military camouflage uniforms. This army, meticulously composed of 1 Command Squad, 20 Shock Troopers, 1 Armoured Sentinel, 2 Ordnance Teams and 3 Leman Russ Tanks, is a symphony of strategy and art.
Our team of artists, led by Mar and Dani, brought each miniature to life with passion. From the initial assembly to the meticulous magnetization of the Leman Russ guns, each step was carried out with precision and dedication. The color schemes, inspired by NATO uniforms, were uniformly applied on tanks, sentinels and infantry, achieving an impressive visual cohesion.
The bases, set in a desert environment, were designed with 3D printed details of hoodoo rocks, provided by our collaborators at Epic Basing. The combination of ochre colors and Ak texture brought to life a landscape that fits perfectly with the army’s theme.

Exploring the Mysteries of Vior’la in the Darkness of the Abandoned Temple

This exciting project started when a passionate strategist from Astra Militarum came across our work on social networks. Impressed by our miniature painting skills, he decided to entrust us with the task of bringing his army inspired by NATO desert camouflage uniforms to life.
With a clear vision, he was looking for more than just a painting service; he wanted a masterpiece that captured the tactical essence of his army in every detail.
His special request: a color scheme true to military uniforms, desert bases and the addition of 3D printed bits for an extra touch of realism.

Welcome to a visual tour through the creative process of our latest Astra Militarum project. Each day, we have shared with our client detailed images of the progress, taking him through the transformation of simple miniatures into an army inspired by NATO desert camouflage uniforms.
