Greytide Space Wolves
Color and paint schemes
This Greytide Space Wolves army is one such example. After completing an initial force for this client, we returned to the workbench to add new characters, line units, elite units, and a vehicle.
The project included assembly, magnetization, integration of Greytide 3D-printed components, bases, and Ornate painting. The number of custom parts turns each miniature into a small scene.
The finish combines the classic Space Wolves color scheme with a very pronounced grimdark aesthetic. The armor features chips, scratches, and accumulated grime, while snow covers bases, vehicles, and upper details to reinforce the wintry atmosphere.

Among hides, fangs, and war relics
Their goal was to expand the army while adhering strictly to the same aesthetic style, so that the new units would look as though they had been part of the collection from the very beginning.
The request was very specific: maintain the classic Space Wolves scheme, add our usual grimdark treatment, and preserve the prominent presence of Greytide components on virtually all the miniatures.
The conversions were to remain the focal point, but without overshadowing the overall look. He also insisted that snow cover both the bases and the upper elements of the miniatures to reinforce the arctic setting.

Wolves, Ice, and Steel: A Story of War and Painting
We decided to start by airbrushing the base color onto all the miniatures at once. In addition to speeding up the process, this method ensures that they all share exactly the same armor shade.
We then divided the units among different painters, who worked on each squad while we conducted periodic checks to maintain consistency across all of them.
The biggest challenge came from the enormous number of parts on the Greytide miniatures. Painting each skin, pendant, shoulder pad, and accessory correctly requires dedicating many additional hours to details that greatly enhance the final result.
