Hello to all Lord of the Rings and miniatures lovers! Today we want to share with you an exciting project that we have recently completed at Art-W Studio. It is a set of 7 miniatures from the Lord of the Rings: Journeys in Middle-earth boardgame. The miniatures include some of the most iconic characters of this fantastic universe, and we loved bringing them to life through the painting and setting of their bases.
We took inspiration from the box art to create a colour scheme that was true to the story. The bases were designed to represent a bog environment, with low vegetation and dry logs, creating a mysterious and enveloping atmosphere. We painted the miniatures and decorated their bases to the Ornate level, ensuring a high quality and detailed result.
This project is a continuation of a previous one in which we had already worked with heroes from the same game. Our client was so satisfied with the result that he ordered us these 7 additional miniatures.

I want to continue painting my Journeys in Middle-earth game
He had worked with us previously; we painted and customised some heroes from for the Lord of the Rings: Journeys in Middle-earth game. He was so satisfied with the result that he decided to order some additional characters from us.
He asked us to follow the colour scheme based on the illustrations on the game box and to recreate a bog environment on the bases, with low vegetation and dry logs. In addition, he wanted both the painting and decoration level of the bases to be the Ornate level.

At our miniature painting studio, we pride ourselves on maintaining open and fluid communication with our clients. We shared daily progress photos with the client, allowing them to see how their project was evolving and ensuring it was in line with their vision. This collaborative approach allowed us to deliver a project that met their expectations.
