Void Tridents Marines
Color and paint schemes
The Void Tridents have arrived in all their splendor, and we had the honor of bringing them to life in one of the most ambitious projects we have ever tackled. More than 50 miniatures, including Dreadnoughts, Primaris Intercessors and Sternguard Veterans, make up this army ready to meet justice in the confines of a space wreck.
The color scheme was carefully chosen: a deep dark blue for the armor, combined with off-white shoulder and knee pads and golden helmets that convey authority and prestige. The distinctive detail, the red tridents pointing to the sky, adds a touch of unique character to this chapter. The bases, inspired by the floors of Necromunda, envelop these figures in an atmosphere charged with tension and industrial decadence.
The project was not just about painting. From the assembly of miniatures to the 3D printing of custom parts, such as bases and jump packs, every step was a creative experience. The figures were painted to match the game with eye-catching finishes, and the bases were carefully treated to integrate them seamlessly into the environment.
Some special characters, such as the Chaplain with his iconic black armor and the Apothecary Biologis, were painted with unique schemes that enhance their presence. Even the Infiltrators were given a darker approach, befitting their role in covert operations.

Customer briefing
Golds of nobility, blues of courage: the essence of Void Tridents
Our client came to us with a clear and exciting mission: to bring his custom Void Tridents chapter to life. He discovered us while exploring examples of miniature painting and was fascinated with the quality and dedication we put into each project. Thus began our collaboration.
The proposal was not simple, but captivating: assemble, customize and paint a complete army that would convey the character of the Void Tridents. He asked us to work with a very defined scheme: dark blue for the armor, off-white on shoulder and knee pads, and gold helmets as a hallmark. He also wanted the red trident to look prominent on the shoulder pads.
In addition, he set us specific challenges. The Infiltrators had to be differentiated with a darker scheme, while unique characters like the Chaplain and the Apothecary Biologis required special painting. Finally, the bases had to represent the dark, decaying corridors of a space wreck, with effects that gave them a narrative of their own.
The clarity of his vision and the trust he placed in us motivated us from the very beginning. Every detail of his commission spoke to us of his passion for this universe, and that was contagious throughout the project.

Shadows, Rust and Glory: Void Tridents in their element
This project has been an incredible journey, and the process has been full of memorable moments. We started with the assembly of all the miniatures, adjusting every detail according to the client’s indications. A key part was the 3D printing of custom parts, such as jump packs and Necromunda bases for the Dreadnoughts, as these were not available in the right size.
As the assembly progressed, one of our painters worked on a sample miniature to define the schematic. When the customer approved the design, we launched into painting confident that we were on the right track.
The armor received several coats of dark blue airbrushing, with gradients that added depth. The off-white shoulder and knee pads and gold helmets were worked on separately to achieve a flawless finish. Then came the details: the tridents on the shoulder pads, the sponge wear, and the metallic touches that gave life to the ensemble.
The final touch came with the painting of the bases, rust effects and the lenses with a vibrant OSL. Throughout the process, we shared progress photos with the client, making sure each stage was up to their expectations.
